1. The Information- Beck

Awesome production on this from Beck’s latest. Kinda hard for him, love the girl moaning in this, but another winner from Mr. Hansen.

2. Pyramid Song- Radiohead

Weep for me Thommy! A piano chant from the Radiohead boys, imagine them taking it slow these days, never! This one is beautiful though and enchanting, you just fall into it and become hypnotized by its repetition, especially once the drumming and strings come into play.

3. Tiny Bombs- Superchunk

Cool lil indie rocker, very guitar driven and I like the everyday tiny bombs message. Thanks to the josh for sending this to me. I don’t know much about this band other than this song, but I really like this one.

4. Shine It All Around- Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation

This is the only song I really know well from Plant’s latest solo album, that Mighty Rearranger. It’s not bad, sounds like a later Zep song or surprise surprise, early Plant solo, better than most of his solo stuff.

5. Born of a Broken man- Rage Against The Machine

Wow, lyrics so true, and I feel them very deeply. And they do the soft to loud transition so well, unlike all those nu-metal bands who base their whole sound on it. P.O.D., all you busters, just listen and weep that you can’t stomp like this!

6. Answers to your Questions- Loose Fur

Strange transition here, but I so heart Loose Fur its not even funny. This is a sleepy Jim O’Rourke number from the album. One of the weaker tracks, but with them, still very listenable.

7. Bulletproof

I Wish I Was- Radiohead

Wow, you can instantly tell this is from the Bends. I had forgotten about this, good, but not great Radiohead track.

8. Wish You Well- Bernard Fanning

Great poppy number that the Josh gave me. Awesome guitar, and great background singers to support Fanning, thanks for waking me up after Yorke put me out! Boy, this guy can wail.

9. Am I High, ft. Malice- NERD

While I love this song, it is also one of those that makes me feel like a total wannabe-15 year old poser, yikes(now if only I had a sweet Orange Julius to go with my mall hanging get-up)! Anyway, classic Neptunes production and Malice breaks it down, “I’m so High1”

10. Con Carino- Gruff Rhys

Awesome ending, my main Super Furry, we are boxing El Chriz in with Animals today. No idea what the lyrics mean, but cool fuzzy guitar and Gruff riffing over it all, I’ll take it.

Well, that’s pretty damn solid, some weird transitions, but I’ll put it up vs. anybody, yeah!
